ESSAYS
The Gutenberg Bible, published by Johannes Gutenberg in Germany, was the first major book printed with movable type in the West and was completed in 1455. This marked the first time the complete Bible was mass-produced using a printing press, making it a pivotal moment in the history of knowledge distribution, though similar printing technologies existed centuries earlier in China and Korea. This was a turning point. People no longer needed to trek to their church, a building. The written word could travel further and faster than ever before. That said, when architects aren't building, they should be writing. Spreading ideas using words reach the widest possible audience faster than a costly building.
